Dear community,

We are a family of three: Petr, Eva, and six-year-old Jonáš. We will be evicted from our home in Montpelier in November latest because the landlord is selling up.

Four months ago Eva had a bad ankle injury and is still not able to walk without crutches. She has been unable to work (painting and decorating and running art events and women’s circles) and Universal Credit is supplementing our income.

Every flat to let in the area is way beyond our budget, so we are reaching out for support to find a new home.

Our son Jonáš is happily settled at Cotham Gardens Primary School so we would love to live walking distance from there if possible.

Petr brings in a steady income with his work for a small landscaping company. He is also a passionate musician and professional carpenter. Once Eva is back on her feet she hopes to continue her creative work and apply to be a Steiner teaching assistant.

Our budget is £1000pm for 1-2 bedrooms (garden if poss!). We will give our home a lot of care and love; we have good practical skills and will be happy to renovate/fix/decorate/maintain a garden in exchange for a more affordable rent.
