YEAR 2 TEACHER, MATERNITY COVER
Vacancy: Year 2 Primary Teacher
Location: Nelson (BB9)
Pay: £140 - £180 per day
Hours: Monday- Friday
Start date: Monday 15th April 2024
This client school is in the vibrant community of Nelson, East Lancashire (BB9) is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Year 2 Primary Teacher to join their team.
The staff at the school are highly skilled and motivated, committed to ensuring that school is a happy, exciting learning environment for the children to excel to do their best. The school also have a strong pastoral team and the care, guidance and support the children receive is second to none. The ideal candidate must be able to fit into this ethos of the school and be enthusiastic about making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of each child.
Collaborate with colleagues to create an integrated and cohesive curriculum that aligns with national standards.
Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a focus on Key Stage 1.
Passionate about fostering a love for learning in young children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
