Job Title: SEND Teacher

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Maternity Cover

Leader Education are recruiting a SEND Teacher to work at a large SEND specialist school based in Bradford. The ideal candidate will have QTS as well as experience in working with children with SEND on a 1:1 basis. The school caters for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm and is a long term position acting as maternity cover for a current member of staff.

The successful candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, preferably in a school setting.
Strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities, including various learning difficulties and conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in responding to the diverse needs of students and managing challenging situations.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for improving outcomes for students with special educational needs and disabilities.Leader Education can offer:
