About the Role:
You'll be supporting a remarkable 25-year-old gentleman with complex care needs. Despite facing challenges, he attends college five days a week and embraces life with resilience. Your role involves administering medications, overseeing suction procedures, and providing compassionate support during hydrotherapy sessions. You'll also collaborate with a dedicated team of carers to ensure seamless care delivery.
Specific Duties Include:
* Administering medications as prescribed, including buccal diazepam and nebulizers, with precision and attention to detail.
* Providing one-on-one manual handling assistance using specialized equipment such as lifts, hoists, and ceiling tracks to ensure the client's safety and comfort.
* Conducting regular suction procedures and monitoring the client's condition closely to anticipate and respond to any changes promptly.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to the client's unique needs and preferences.
* Supervising and coordinating a team of carers to ensure consistent and high-quality care delivery, including training new staff members and providing ongoing support and guidance.
About You:
We're seeking a registered nurse with substantial experience in complex care. Your compassionate nature and commitment to dignity and respect make you an ideal fit for our team. Experience with epilepsy, manual handling techniques, and administering medications is essential. Moreover, your ability to supervise and coordinate a team demonstrates your leadership skills and dedication to excellence.
