It feels like just yesterday that we made the decision to move to Maidenhead from Central London, seeking more space and the perfect place to start a family. And now, over two years later we fell in love with the location, the community, and the wonderful space our home provided for our growing family.
The area has a unique charm, it offered us the best of both worlds with London just a train ride away (18min on the fast train), it became easy to commute into the office or attend functions. Maidenhead station is a quick 5 min drive or 15/20min walk. It also offers many different schools just walking distance away.
The uniquely private garden has been a joy as we love food (we call it ‘our breakfast garden’), complete with 2 apple trees (great for apple crumble), a very happy strawberry bush (many jams have been made from it), raspberries and plenty of herbs. The kitchen offers an impressively large surface space so many good meals and kitchen appliances can be enjoyed. This home and garden have so much potential to offer and we truly loved it.
We've enjoyed exploring the scenic spots (particularly access to loads of swimming spots), parks, and riverside walks that Maidenhead offers. We’ve also loved having areas such as Marlow, Taplow, Henley and Windsor on our doorstep.
But life is full of opportunities, and sometimes they lead us down unexpected paths. As much as it pains us to say goodbye to this wonderful family home, we've been presented with an incredible opportunity to embark on a new adventure, moving abroad once again.
As we prepare to sell our beloved home, we hope that the next family who walks through these doors will find the same warmth, love, and joy that we have. We believe that this space holds the potential to create many more beautiful memories for its next owners.
