Fabulous german build quality, from a time when Mercedes made cars to last,
Just collected from a main dealer some 180 miles away, and driven back to lincoln a few days ago.
The car drove well, getting upto its usual mercedes 80 on the temperature gauge , automatic box changing seamlessly, as expected.
The car has bags of power from its 2.1 litre diesel engine ,with its 147 horse power engine, pick up is really good.
A really easy car to drive, full of fun, and great in the sunshine.......
Just taken to the mot station where the car has needed :
2 New tyres,
Front brake pads and discs,
Rear brake pads,
Brake pad sensor,
A front ball joint,
And an invoice for £410 of my hard earned, so now all good to go with a fresh 12m mot ......
- EXTERIOR:
Well as you can imagine from a mercedes the build quality is amazing,
Considering the car is a little short of 15 years old, it does look well.
Finished in sparkling metallic black with almost unmarked silver alloy wheels
Yes there is obviously the slight signs of rust, mainly on the very edge of the rear wheel arch, but nothing too drastic,
The coach work looks nice and bright, mainly original paint, so thats always good.
The alloys look in good condition, with only the minor scuff and a bit of flaking, not noticeable if your 5ft away.,
There is the odd minor mark, a few stone chips on the bonnet, a small scuff on thereat mid bumper, but not really noticeable, and thats about it, Not bad for 15 years old....
- INTERIOR:
Full black and grey cloth interior is in great condition
Just shampooed , plastics cleaned and treated
Carpets are in really good condition, the photos are pre valet, and only took a few minutes to vac...
