We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team based in Sunderland. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various industrial and commercial settings.

Responsibilities:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layouts and dimensions.

- Cutting, threading, and bending pipes using various tools and techniques.

- Installing and connecting pipes and fittings according to design and safety standards.

- Testing piping systems for leaks and ensuring proper functionality.

- Repairing and replacing faulty or damaged pipes and fittings.

- Collaborating with other tradespeople to complete projects.

- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.

- Maintaining accurate records of work performed.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter or similar role.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

- Sound knowledge of various types of pipes, fittings, and materials.

- Ability to accurately measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and precision.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Relevant certifications or qualifications in pipe fitting.
