We have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Commercial to join a multi-award-winning Health and Fitness brand.
As Head of Commercial, youll be responsible for the entire merchandise branch. Youll ensure efficient running of the warehouse and distribution functions, as well as overseeing the marketing strategy and day to day operations. Youll also be responsible for growing and developing the business, overseeing new product development, identifying market trends and customer demands to expand our merchandise offerings.
This job is based fully in house in Gateshead and will report directly into the CFO.
Hours for this position are Monday - Friday / 9am - 5pm.
Head of Commercial Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute brand-building strategies to establish the company as a recognised and trusted brand in the industry.
* Ensure consistent branding across all touchpoints, including our website, marketing materials and customer interactions.
* Oversee marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising, to promote our products and services.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between both business strategies.
* Implement strategies to attract new customers and increase customer retention.
* Analyse customer demographics and preferences to tailor marketing efforts to target audiences effectively.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
* Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, create sales funnels, and optimise the sales process.
* Identify market trends and customer demands to expand our merchandise offerings.
* Collaborate with product development and procurement teams to ensure a diverse and competitive product range.
* Lead and manage a high-performing team.
* Set clear goals, provide mentorship, and ensure team members have the tools and resources to succeed.
Head of Commercial - Skills and qualifications:
* At least 3 years within a Head of Commercial.
* Previous experience in a sales-focused role would be beneficial.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate teams.
* Excellent organisational skills to balance and prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of project management and risk management.
* Solid financial skills, including financial reporting abilities.
* Strong marketing development skills to successfully introduce new products into the mainstream.
