Facade Consultancy - Romsey, Hampshire
Salary up to £70,000 + Car Allowance £5000 + Pension + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday
Blaymires Recruitment is representing the UK's leading fire safety and facade consultancy based near Romsey, Hampshire who is searching for a Small Works Manager.
The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage cladding and internal combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues. They are presently overseeing the refurbishment of multiple facades on residential buildings and they work with a wide range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.
The company is seeking a Small Works Manager to head up an exciting, fast paced division within the business. You will be responsible for managing small façade refurbishment projects ranging in value from £50K to £1M.
The Small Works Manager will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion, working with internal departments, external consultants, and contractors.
This role would suit either a Project Manager or Contracts Manager from a Cladding or Façade background or an existing Small Works Manager with general construction experience who is looking to support a growing business.
Requirements of the Small Works Manager:
* A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role, with a comprehensive knowledge of the building and construction industry
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Detailed understanding of the construction industry's health and safety requirements.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience in budgeting, cost control, and contract management.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation including CDM 2015, Building Regulations, BSR and British Standards.
* A degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
