DAYS / AFTERNOONS ROLE

£12.00 TO £15.00 PER HOUR

NOTTINGHAM

SALARY

£12.00 to £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience).
Double Days role / Weekly rotation.
37.5 hours per week.
Shift Allowance paid @ 1.25 times basic rate.
WEEK 1 Monday to Thursday 06:00am - 14:00pm / Friday 06:00am - 11:30am.
WEEK 2 Monday to Thursday 14:00pm - 22:00pm / Friday 11:30am - 17:00pm.

JOB SUMMARY

Alecto Recruitment are in working partnership with a globally renowned Precision Engineering company in the Hinckley area. Serving customers / clients nationally and internationally within the industry. Working in a variety of sectors including Aerospace, Renewable energy and Medical. My client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced CNC Turners with FANUC / Siemens operating and setting knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Setting and Operating CNC turning machines to ensure that all parts are correctly machined.
Have working knowledge of using FANUC controlled CNC Machines.
Work to achieve set production times and targets.
Interpret drawings and quality specifications, to ensure parts are produced to customer requirements.
Carrying out quality checks on own work using manual measuring equipment.
Work collectively with colleagues in other departments to support targets, objectives, and company goals.
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, ensuring guidelines are followed in accordance with company policy.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Mechanical Apprentice trained or qualified by working experience.
Previous 2 and 3 axis machining experience.
Experience working with high value component or exotic materials.
Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all parties at all levels.
Excellent working knowledge of Quality Standards.
