CNC SLIDING HEAD MACHINIST

CNC LATHES / TURNER

DERBY AREA

£30,000 TO £35,000 PER ANNUM

SALARY

£30,000 to £35,000 per annum (Negotiable at interview - Dependant on experience).
DAYS ROLE - 40 hours per week.
Monday to Thursday 06:00am to 15:00pm, half day Fridays.
25 days holiday.

JOB SUMMARY

Alecto Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced and skilled CNC Sliding Head Machinist to join a highly reputable engineering company in the Derby area. A specialist in the precision and manufacture of turned components using state of the art equipment and machines. Serving customers in the UK and internationally working within many sectors of the industry including Aerospace, Medical, Defence and Motorsport.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

*MUST* be experienced and able to program multi axis lathes.
Set and operate multi axis lathes on a variety of different machines.
To produce batches of components to the highest quality standards and tight tolerances.
Be familiar and experienced in using FANUC controls on CNC machines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Turner, Sliding Lathe, Setter, Operator and *MUST* PROGRAM.
Working knowledge and experience of using FANUC controls.
Apprentice trained (advantageous) or Time served to a similar time frame.
High attention to detail and able to work to tight tolerances.
