Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Salary: £76 - £80

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a wonderful and lively primary school based in Derby (DE22) where they have a positive ethos with high standards of work, courtesy and behaviour. They aim to provide their children with a successful and memorable educational experience.

The school is looking to take on a part-time Learning Support Assistant for a long-term period who can provide 1 to 1 support for a child with learning disabilities. The successful applicant will have the skills to listen and understand the childs needs to help them develop their learning.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

A qualification in childcare and/or equivalent knowledge, skills or experience
Previous experience supporting children with SEN
First Aid Qualification (preferred)
A caring and inspiring approach to children
Able to work under pressure
Willingness to travel up to 45 minutes
