Seeking for an inspiring and dedicated Math Teacher to join our dynamic team!

GSL Education is looking for Math Teacher who is committed to delivering outstanding education at our clients primary schools in North Shields. The schools take great pride on creating a welcoming environment where students are engaged, challenged, and motivated to achieve their full potential.

The Head Teacher is particularly interested in candidates who possess a genuine passion for their subject and can demonstrate strong behavior management skills in the classroom. The main responsibilities as a Primary Teacher includes:

Planning, teaching and assessing the Math Curriculum
Be confident teaching KS1 and KS2 Math
Select and requisition appropriate books, instructional aids and school supplies as needed
Following the school behaviour management policy effectively
Promoting independence
Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
Be responsible for the attainment of pupils
Be responsible for individualised learning plans for pupils with SEND and SEMHThe ideal candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teaching Status
Have a degree in subject area
Be passionate about their subject area
ECTs are welcome
Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
A full checkable work history
