Head of Repairs

Newent

Circa £55,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced head of repairs & maintenance to deliver an excellent customer service to deliver safe, warm and affordable homes.

You will be responsible for planning and delivering a cost efficient and customer focused repair and maintenance service for Two Rivers Housing customers.

It is key that you ensure continuous improvement, particularly in terms of value for money, productivity and customer satisfaction. You will develop robust plans, using customer feedback to improve customer satisfaction. You will also have the opportunity to contribute directly to the organisations wider strategic vision and ambitions.

Educated to a degree or appropriate qualification you will have senior management experience in the social housing sector. With commitment to personal development, you will demonstrate inspirational leadership skills with the ability to grow a strong strategic growth plan.

Acting as an ambassador for Two Rivers Housing, you will embrace and help shape our values and drive a culture of transformation across our repairs and maintenance teams.

Two Rivers Housing is an independent, not-for-profit organisation based in the beautiful Forest of Dean. We believe that everyone should have access to a warm, safe, affordable home when they need it and are committed to ensuring we deliver on our promise to create great homes and support the communities and people that we work with.

With an existing stock of nearly 4,500 homes and with a secure financial base, we have committed to increase the number of affordable homes available in our communities. In 2018, we pledged to build 1000 new affordable homes by 2028 and are well on the way to achieving that target. Alongside this we are continuing to invest in our existing homes and working towards our net zero carbon ambitions.

Now really is an exciting time to join the Two Rivers Housing team.

We offer a flexible approach to working and work-life balance, including agile working and a comprehensive package of employee benefits. This includes car allowance, competitive holiday entitlement and pension provision.

Closing date: Wednesday 15 November 2023

First Interview to be held w/c 27 November (via Microsoft Teams) with second interviews to be held w/c 4 December (Head Office)

Please note that Two Rivers Housing is an equal opportunity employer and adheres to all relevant legislation and offer services regardless of age, race, sex, disability, or religious belief.

We do not require recruitment agency support at this time and any speculative CVs will not be treated as a direct application
