MULTI-SKILLED MECHANICAL FITTER

We are recruiting for a multi-skilled mechanical fitter who can work safely on all types of equipment within a static factory environment. This is a dayshift role, working Monday to Friday, with occasional voluntary overtime.
The starting salary on this permanent role is £40k per annum.
Its a 35 hour working week, the plant operates from a Sunday to Friday, this is a Monday to Friday role, starting at 7.45am 4.15pm, and a 12.45pm finish on a Friday.
There is full training provided, the minimum we expect from applicants is time-served / ideally 18th edition qualified, manufacturing or production / electronics background would be perfect.
We are looking for experienced candidates with electrical, mechanical, hydraulics / pneumatics to ensure plant, production equipment, site services and facilities are maintained to the highest level to minimise downtime.
This position will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, diagnosis, reporting and tracking.

* Respond promptly to plant downtime to maximise throughput.
* Repair and replace damaged equipment.
* Record work completed using CMMS
* Interrogate, fault find, and resolve equipment problems.
* Engage in continuous improvement activities and meetings.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Participate in projects as required.
