Environments Analyst / Tester
We are seeking a talented and motivated Environment Analyst with a strong background in automation and experience of test infrastructure environments.
Ideally you will have good skills in AWS, System Integration Testing (SIT) and/or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability, and scalability of our systems and applications throughout the development lifecycle. The candidate should have a solid understanding of CI/CD processes and deployment automation with Jenkins and Nexus.
Key Responsibilities:
Environment Management:
* Collaborate with development and testing teams to set up, configure, and manage testing environments in AWS
* Ensure the availability and reliability of test environments to support various testing activities.
Automation:
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both functional and non-functional testing.
* Implement and execute automated testing processes to improve testing efficiency.
System Integration Testing (SIT) / SDET:
* Lead and participate in System Integration Testing activities to ensure seamless integration between different components.
* Collaborate with developers to design and implement SDET strategies for improved test coverage and efficiency.
Continuous Integration / Deployment:
* Implement and maintain Continuous Integration (CI) processes to enable automated builds and testing.
* Work closely with the DevOps team to enhance deployment automation and streamline release processes.
Collaboration and Communication:
* Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on environmental and automation-related matters.
* Collaborate with developers, testers, and DevOps engineers to identify and resolve environmental issues.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience as an Environment Analyst, with a focus on automation, SIT, and SDET.
* Strong AWS
* Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
* Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Nexus, Travis CI, GitLab CI/CD).
* Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
More details on application must be able to work 2 days a week onsite on the South Coast
Circa £500 - £500 per day inside (IR35)
Benefits: £550 per day
