Logistics Administrator/Import & Export



Full time - Fixed Term Contract 12 months - Luton

Randstad are currently working in collaboration with a rapidly expanding trading business near Luton. This busy, successful and expanding international business are seeking a customer focused, organised and autonomous Logistics Administrator to join their team on a 12 month fixed term contract to support the smooth running of a busy department.

Key responsibilities of the Logistics Administrator includes:

Administration and customer service both verbally and non-verbally with customers and suppliers
Arranging for transportation of goods
Processing paperwork accurately and maintaining the company database
Building rapport with internal staff and external customers and suppliers
Order processing
Raising invoicesEssential Core Skills

Familiar with Import/export administration
Able to work in a high paced environment, working conscientiously and proficiently
Competent at Microsoft packages and ideally Sage
Be self-motivated able to use own initiative and multi-task
Autonomous
Comfortable working with individuals at all organizational levels
Excellent interpersonal skills-persuasive, empathetic,able to handle conflict and pressure
Great at problem solving
