On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are looking to appoint a passionate Year 2 teacher to work in a beautiful, outstanding school in Denton, Tameside. This exciting long-term role which will commence April 2024 and will be full-time until at least the end of the year with the potential of permanency. The school will pay an attractive salary (up to £210 per day) which reflects your skills and experience and will accept applications from ECT's as well as more experienced teachers.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for a lovely Year 2 class of around 30 pupils with a small percent of SEND and EAL. Behaviour in this class is very good and you will be accompanied by a teaching assistant. Applicants must have a background teaching KS1 and experience in the Read Write Inc phonics scheme. A good knowledge and understanding of the KS1 curriculum will be essential and the ability to work well as an individual and team player will be crucial to your success.

A teacher who has a Maths or English specialism and can demonstrate excellence in this area of expertise on a daily basis
A teacher who values parents as partners in the learning process

To join us and be successful in this role:
You must hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Have demonstrated success with Year 2 SATS and have excellent references to support your previous experience
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
