Groundwork Ganger (Buckinghamshire) Fulltime

A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 8-10 years

PAYE basis

On Offer:

* Rate of £18.48 per hour - first 39 hours

* Rate of £27.72 per hour - final 11 hours

* Rate of £20.51 per hour - average across 50 hours

* Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)

* Lodge or Mileage paid depending on distance

* Pension

Overtime When Available:

* Saturday First 4 hours time & a half after 4 hours double time

* Sunday Double time

Candidates must have:

* Full understanding of all aspects and responsibilities of a Groundwork Ganger

* Good level of experience of General Groundworks

* Experience in the site preparation for, bases, foundations and trenches. Drainage, kerbing and slabbing.

* The experience of supervising a small team of operatives

* Expected to lead by example in a working supervisory position

* Carry out any tasks assigned by overseeing operatives/Foreman with regards to safety working to method

* CSCS Green card or CSCS Blue skilled worker card having achieved or working towards an NVQ for a particular skill, SSSTS

Preferred

* CSCS Blue skilled worker card or CSCS Gold Supervisors card having achieved or working towards an NVQ for a particular skill, SSSTS

* SMSTS - site managers safety training scheme (5 days)

* Manual handling

* First aid at work (4 day).

* Driving license
