We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant prepared to offer assistance to young learners within a classroom environment, spanning from KS1 to KS4. Your duties will entail aiding children aged 5-16 during standard working hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Nestled in Keighley, the school is deeply committed to inclusive principles that prioritise respect. They seek an individual who embodies patience and is adept at supporting a diverse range of additional needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Cultivate an engaging and interactive learning environment.
Support children's educational journey in both one-on-one and small group settings.
Share insights and maintain professional communication with the class teacher.
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and effective communication with children.
Adapt instructional approaches to accommodate various learning styles and individual requirements.
Implement behaviour management strategies to foster positive conduct.
Requirements:
Experience and proficiency in working with students with diverse Special Educational Needs.
Possess high expectations, dedication, and enthusiasm for student progress.
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to procure one through Randstad.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal aptitudes.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Commitment to safeguarding children.
