The Role:
We are looking a Care Assistant with experience in working in nursing homes for older people. You will be joining a friendly team, providing the best possible care for the residents, contributing to the smooth running of the home and ensuring it is adhering to and meeting CQC standards. Day and night shifts available.
As a Key Worker under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, taking responsibility for the physical and emotional well being and social needs of our client's residents.
Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and feeding.
Providing physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with residents, both individually and as a group
Generally promoting our client's resident's independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care
What you'll need:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a dedicated team
You must have a respectful, courteous and compassionate nature and a willingness to undertake any aspects of care or non-care duties
Also a belief in giving your personal best at all times and striving for continuous improvement.
