Sales Executive

If the answer is yes, we are looking to recruit a new team member for the role of Area Sales Manager (ASM) working from our offices in Castle Donington. The successful ASM will be someone who is looking to settle into a long-term position and is ambitious to progress within the business.
Experienced in Account Management and sales area development, the succesful ASM will be targeted on the generation of sales leads to the closing of sales by conducting high quality one to one conversations with decision makers within hospitality businesses such as:
* hotels
* wedding venues
* golf/football/cricket clubs
* other event venues within your own sales area in the UK
* potentially some international sales opportunities in order to gain the best possible profit margin for the company and of course for your own bonus.
Sales are not always 'quick wins', so building good stable relationships with existing and new clients, fact finding and generating trust though a professional relationship with the decision makers and influencers you speak with is very important.
Ideally you will have gained success in a Business to Business sales role, within a call centre or sales office environment and you will need to be competitive, target driven, self- motivated as well as being a good team player. If you have hospitality sales or event management experience all the better but not a must.
On offer is:
* A permanent full time position (37.5 hours per week) - Part time considered)
* Starting annual salary of between £25,000 and £30,000 (dependant on sales experience and industry knowledge).
* Potential "On Target Earnings" bonus of £8,000 p/a upwards (open ended)
* Contributory pension scheme after 3 months
* 20 days holiday per year rising to a generous 25 days after one years service (plus Bank Holidays)
