Assistant QS required by leading main contractor specialising in occupied social housing projects in Chichester

Position: Assistant Quantity Surveyor Social housing refurbishment projects Chichester

Package: To £40,000 + car/car allowance + excellent benefits package

Location: Chichester

Company Overview: Our client has established itself as one of the largest and most successful providers of social housing refurbishment schemes in the UK. They undertake projects from as little as £500k up to as large as £60 million and pride themselves on staff retention and training and due to the company's structured and rapid progression and growth. They have secured a number of new contracts and frameworks which will see them double in size over the next 18 months

Project: The project is an occupied social housing refurbishment contract valued at £4.3 million. Scope of works include window and roof replacements, External Wall Insulation (EWI), and concrete repairs for a prominent housing association.

Reporting to a Senior QS, you will assist in the following activities

* Procuring sub-contractors

* Administration/record keeping

* Daily line management meetings

* Measurements and Variations

* Sub-contractor payments

* Prepare monthly cash-flow forecasts for clients
