GSL Education are working with an SEMH school in Southampton, catering to students aged 11-16. They are seeking an individual with experience working with challenging behaviours. This role would be working 1:1 with a pupil in KS3-KS4, keeping them engaged with the work set by the teacher and managing their behaviour.
The school's aim is to provide a tailored and specialist setting for children who cannot cope within a mainstream setting allowing them to improve their education but focusing on their social, emotional and mental well-being as a paramount. The school is beautiful, and the staff are fantastic. You will be required to make regular notes throughout the day and meet with the teacher to update and amend the pupils EHCP.
