Gauging interest for my Focus ST3 stage 2 w/ flames. Only had it a few months doesn’t get driven much as I mainly WFH. Mrs isn’t a big fan as it’s low and loud. Love the car as the 5 pot sound is epic but I kinda miss my German cars. Currently on my private reg which would be taken off before being sold if any decent interest original plate is MW10CHF. In no rush for a quick sale more gauging interest. If none then I’ll just not sell and keep it and keep enjoying the 5 cylinder noises lol.
Condition
87.5k miles will rise as it’s my only car.
Full service history was MOT’d before I bought it in January so circa 10 months left. CV boot was replaced as part of the mot as it has split.
Wheels were recently refurbed in satin black before I got it.
Tyres have a few mm left of tread above the minimum but I had planned to change these for something more premium in the next few months.
Car will need discs and pads in the coming months something I planned to do but as I don’t drive it much the wear is slow.
Could do with a decent alignment which I planned to do when getting new tyres.
Odd marks here and there as it’s 13 years old. Has the small screen
I’m in the process of changing the headlight projectors as the factory xenon’s are burnt out(Ford used plastic reflector bowls). Changing them to led projectors which are much better.
Mods
Car is stage 2 tuned 290bhp/480nm with flames
Running a 3” turbo back exhaust decat. Just changed the catback to a Malian 3” system as the old 3” custom was a bit tired. Still have it if wanted along with the 5” RS tips I wasn’t a fan so used the Malian 4” ones. Malian is LOUD. Drones a bit on the motorway but the sound is epic.
Has an uprated intake, still running stock intercooler something I planned to change if I wanted more power.
Bilstein coilovers, car is mega low and looks great. I had the car checked over by my goto performance specialist as it has a squeak at the rear end but they couldn’t find anything other than the old exhaust being tired looking hence why I got the new one. Still a bit squeaky but all has been checked. They advised the coilovers look 6 months old if even as they look immaculate.
Car has block mod, timing belt and water pump with proof along with RS clutch and flywheel all done at the same time by the previous owner. HPI clear no outstanding finance on the car. The torque is brilliant pulls really well and sounds epic.
Has a Collins dump valve so some great turbo noises too.
Short shifter, gear shifts feel lovely.
Well spec’d car. Usual ST3 heated leather and keyless. Also has full electric windows with global open/close with the key. Visibility pack auto wipers and lights and auto dimming rear view mirror. Has the small Ford sat nav but the head unit was changed by the garage I bought it from to a slightly newer version so has Bluetooth with music streaming. I never bother to use the nav as I have google maps but it is there. Also has dual zone climate control which is rare. Think the only options it doesn’t have are sunroof and bigger Sony nav.
