We are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic Nursing Home in Caldicot who are looking for Senior Care Assistants on days and nights to join their dedicated team. They are fully CIW compliant and they have a great reputation in the local area.
Our client strives to deliver the highest standards of care within their home and are seeking strong Senior Care Assistants with previous care experience to join their dedicated care team.
About the home:
This is a beautiful 45 bedded Nursing Home specialising in elderly and dementia care. The service is focused on providing a person-centred approach to caring for people, with an emphasis on dignity, choice ad independence. The home itself is a beautiful Manor House with large rooms, a warm feel and exellent garden facilities.
These are Full Time, permanent Senior Care Assistant roles (36-48 hours per week, alternate weekends) paying a fantastic £11.00 per hour. 1 role each on both Days and Nights are available and immediate starts are possible. Shifts are 7am-2pm, 1pm-7pm or 7am-7pm.
They also have Care Assistant roles available on Days and Nights paying £8.75+ per hour.
Senior Care Assistant Duties:
*To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents
*To provide leadership and support to the care staff
*Responsible for the administration of medication
*Maintain residents dignity and independence at all times
As a senior care assistant you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care assistants. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care.
Requirements:
*Previous experience within a nursing/residential home
*Previous experience as a Senior HCA
*NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
