You would not believe this modern classic is approaching 24 years old, still they built them too last in the 80s and 90s! The Engine is quiet, powerful, and responsive, starts first turn of the key and is smoke free. The rare option 5 speed manual gearbox is lovely and precise, and the clutch has a very decent midway biting point / no slipping either. The steering, brakes and suspension are positive and responsive with no unwanted noises or road noise. This is a seriously well driving, everyday classic! I would say it is the best W124 Mercedes that I have driven.
