MPI currently have a requirement for a Propulsion Mechanical Supervisor to join their existing team, working in support of the The Chinook Engine Support Arrangement (CESA) contract which ensures provision of serviceable T55 engines and accessories to the RAF Chinook platform.

This is a permanent position with the salary to be discussed on application.

Main accountabilities:

Completion of maintenance tasks as required by the Contract

Ensuring all personnel under their control wear protective clothing and observe COSHH regulations

Attending courses for further training on specific techniques relevant and necessary to their job as detailed by their Section Supervisor

Acting as permanent loan holder in accordance with current regulations if required

First Aider/appointed person

Out of hours support when needed

What you'll need to do the job:

Engine maintenance within an operational environment

Ability to work competently in a changeable environment

Ideally T55 or similar engine experience (not essential)

Desirable skills:

Forklift Operation (desirable, training will be provided)

Gold ESP S3 (desirable, training will be provided)
