Job Description
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for several Tutors within the Bedford area. Here at Teaching Peronnel we are one of the few Government approved National Tutoring Programmed (NTP) partners. NTP was a programme created by the government in order to help disadvantaged pupils who have been especially affected by Coronavirus. Teaching Personnel have Tuition Managers who have regular communication with schools throughout the area to assess and understand the needs of specific pupils in order to ensure we match the tutors to the correct pupils. Here at Teaching Personnel we pride ourselves on providing an excellent service to both schools and more importantly the pupils.
These roles are available after the february half term and will be a minimum of 15 weeks long which will last up until the end of the academic year. Roles are not permanent.
Teaching Personnel only accept qualified Teachers for our tutoring roles however we happily accept newly experienced NQT's aswell as applicants with experience looking for part-time work. We offer very flexible roles, allowing you to chose what works best for you depending on your personal and professional life.We offer 0 hour non binding contracts which means you are not abliged to accept the work we offer.
Your Role
- To carry out tuition either online or face to face.
- Provide tuition to various group sizes, varying from 1:1/1:2/1:3/1:4/1:5/1:6
- 15-hour blocks per group/pupil can be delivered in personalised slots depending on school/pupil needs
- Progress reports to be completed at the end of each session on our portal LEAP.
- The tutor will be responsible for planning and producing sessions in their own time and teaching their own learning resources, or may utilise resources shared by school
- Start dates from after february half term
Ideal Candidate :
- Degree level qualification or 6 months minimum experience in a school setting
- Have a DBS already on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new application
- The right to work in the UK
- The ability to plan, produce and teach using own learning resources
- Have SEN experience
- Offers a flexible work schedule
- Have experience with the current school Curriculum

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
