Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading manufacturer of material handling equipment looking to recruit a new Regional Service Manager to oversee their service operations in the Derbyshire. With the opportunity to be part of a developing and expanding service team, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Service Manager looking for a new opportunity.

Responsibilities

· Overseeing all aftersales across Derbyshire

· Managing a team of Field Engineers and Team Leaders to ensure service is carried our efficiently

· Overseeing Site Engineers and Workshop Engineers within the region

· Making sure all service contracts are well managed and appropriate administrative tasks are carried out accordingly

· Liaising with sales team to provide after sales support where necessary

· Attending customer site visits to carry out inspections and surveys when required

Requirements

You will ideally have experience of working in Service Management within the Material Handling industry before, but the company are open to experience from similar industries including construction and commercial vehicles. The company may also consider individuals with no industry related experience provided they have a proven track record of managing customer contracts and man management. You will have a strong understanding of customer service and how to manage a team of engineers. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in Derbyshire.
