Our client, a leading consultancy business, is seeking a Senior Project Consultant with expertise in the Mass Transit and Energy sectors. This role offers the opportunity to lead significant commissions, provide strategic advice, and drive forward your own career progression.

Location

This role can be based in Edinburgh, Leeds, or Dublin.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Consultant, you will:

* Fulfill programme/project/change lead roles on assigned commissions.

* Provide strategic and tailored expertise area advice to clients.

* Analyse data or situations and communicate information efficiently and effectively.

* Manage multiple commissions, delivering robust technical outputs, performance reporting, and targeted commercial returns.

* Manage internal and external resources on commissions, including resource planning, technical direction, and quality checking.

* Support business development activities, including client interface, leveraging existing opportunities, producing proposals, and professional networking.

Person Profile

The ideal candidate will:

* Hold a degree qualification recognised within the UK & Ireland (or equivalent work experience/apprenticeship programme).

* Have a minimum of five years post qualification experience in a relevant field of expertise.

* Hold a formal project professional qualification (such as APM PMQ, PRINCE 2 or PMP) and/or an accreditation in change management.

* Have experience of managing or shaping the delivery of large-scale projects and/or programmes ideally within public transport or energy infrastructure environments.

* Be flexible in your approach and be willing to travel as business need arises.

* Be committed to personal and team continuous development & improvement.
