Here we have something a bit special Supplied by Bletchley Motor car sales Ltd Rover/Morris dealers in Bletchley on 06/03/1981 making it surely one of the last ,if anyone can tell me where to look to find out I'm all ears ,1 of 580 GT LE's (last editions) finished in Pewter metallic I'm sure if you are here you already know this and realise that this was the last of the line of these great old English sports cars ,this one though we have just awoken from its slumber where it has been stored on Sorn since 2005 ,it has just 3 owners from new covered 64k and has its original handbooks, service books other paraphernalia leaflets and wallet it obviously had an extensive restoration at some point by the photos in with the handbooks and looks to have been in the 90's given the 35mm photos ,no USB stick here, it has obviously seen many a show but as with all beauties eventually a little more treatment is needed ,well after all of those years a new battery a whack on the fuel pump and she started right up ,I was totally amazed but old fuel was better ,being tax and MOT exempt I was actually able to take her for a run of about 10 miles with no problems at all ,she will however need a proper going through and some paint correction etc to make immaculate ,its really tricky to price as others out there are significantly more ,this is a turn key running driving useable car that with a full service and once over can be put into use straight away
