Job Description for the Plant Engineer :

My Client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Engineer to join our team in an on-site capacity. As a Plant Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance, optimization, and improvement of our facility's equipment and systems. Responsibilities for the Plant Engineer :

Equipment Maintenance and Optimization:

Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repair activities for all plant equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of machinery.
Process Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement in production processes and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
Analyze data and performance metrics to optimize plant operations and achieve production goals.
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:

Respond promptly to equipment failures or malfunctions, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with maintenance technicians to address technical challenges and minimize disruptions to production.
Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure that all plant activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
Implement and promote a strong safety culture within the plant.
Capital Projects:

Participate in the planning and execution of capital projects related to plant infrastructure and equipment upgrades.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation within established timelines and budgets.
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
Generate reports on plant performance, equipment reliability, and maintenance activities.Qualifications for the for the Plant Engineer:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Plant Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of plant operations, machinery, and maintenance practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
