About our school:
South Park Enterprise College is an Independent SEMH Specialist School, offering an alternative curriculum to young people with a range of SEMH special educational needs. The vast majority of our students have an EHCP and may have a diagnosis of ADHD or ASD. We also take a small number of students from the local authority inclusion service who have been or are at risk of being permanently excluded from mainstream settings.
Students who study with us have a wide range of needs including communication and behavioural difficulties. All students are individual and their learning programme is designed to support and empower them to achieve their aspirations and goals, whilst developing skills to become more independent members of their community and progress into sustained employment.
Overview of the role of KS3 Teacher:
- To provide, monitor and evaluate the use of resources related to KS3 work
- Supporting progress through educational experiences that supports effective planning, teaching, learning and assessment.
- Teach a range of subjects and skills to KS3 students in order that they receive a broad and effective curriculum that will prepare them well for their next stage of education
- Creating engaging lessons, explain complex concepts simply, and enrich classroom time by using experiments

At South Park Enterprise College
It is my pleasure to welcome you to South Park Enterprise College. The college, located in Scunthorpe, provides an alternative education programme for those pupils who are at risk of exclusion due to their challenging behaviour, and for those who have an Educational Health Care Plan and require more specialised interventions than can be provided in a mainstream school.
South Park Enterprise College is a registered independent education provision offering a detailed curriculum providing a seamless approach to education that allows consistency, continuity, structure and boundaries. The school curriculum offers a broad and balanced education adjusted to meet the needs of pupils with a wide range of abilities from KS3 to KS4.
