The School and Role

This medium, two-form entry school in Wallasey, Wirral are looking to appoint a nurturing and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 child in a SEND setting. The role will be full-time, working 5 days a week, between the times of 08:30am - 3:30pm, and will start in November and will be ongoing. The school are looking for a strong teaching assistant with experience of working within a SEND environment, the school can offer a friendly and welcoming working environment, as they work towards the same goals whilst also putting the children at the heart of everything they do.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

- Experience of working with primary school aged children

- Experience working with children with a SEND background/on a 1-1 basis

- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

- An ability to work as part of a team

- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
