An international leading consultancy Is looking for a Principal Designer to become a key member of their pre-construction team based in Birmingham working on sites across Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley and the surrounding areas.

This role would be most suited to an Intermediate level Principal Designer who is keen to take their career to the next level and gain further knowledge and experience across a number of sites.

The Principal Designer will have good knowledge of the pre-construction phase plan across a variety of sectors including Residential and Retail.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is hungry to learn more across a wide variety of interesting projects.

The Principal Designers Role

Prepare the pre-construction phase plan
Undertake Construction Site Safety inspections
Assist duty holders to develop pre-construction information
Apply H&S and CDM knowledge to ensure CDM compliance is metThe Principal Designer

NEBOSH General certificate or Construction H&S
2 years experience in a CDM role such as Principal Designer / CDM Advisor
Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn and develop
Understanding of the pre-construction phaseIn return

£45,000-£55,000
24 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday
