Are you a Teaching Assistant who specialises in working with children or young people with attachment disorders?
Career Teachers are recruiting for a teaching assistant to support a child in year 2 with attachment disorders. Duties will involve supporting the individual in the classroom with curriculum subjects in Numeracy and Literacy and managing behaviour. This mainstream primary school in Wirral has a supportive staff network with a friendly working environment. To apply for this role applicants must have a knowledge of attachment disorders or similar special educational needs experience.

This is a long-term role to start in December until July 2024. Hours are Monday to Friday 8:45am-3:10pm.

To be considered for this position the ideal applicant will have the following.
* Experience in attachment disorders, or similar SEND.
* Be a caring, compassionate, and patient person.
* Can de-escalate any challenging behaviour.
* Be able to commit to a full-time long-term position for continuity of the child.
* Have a Portable Enhanced DBS check or willing to apply for a new one with us.
