Head of Sales Administration - Merseyside
Our client is looking for a unique candidate for an exciting new role.
KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide the planning, reporting, and progressing of all vehicles sold by the business. This will encompass New Truck, Used Truck, New Van and Used Van being sold via online and offline channels. The role reports directly to the Sales Director and will act as a conduit between the Head of Van Sales, The Head of Truck Sales, and the Finance Team.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
* To work with the Sales Director, and Heads of Sales to create the Operative Plan for the sales function
* To revise monthly the plans based upon movements in stock or increases in order intake, i.e. increase and reduce demand where necessary
* To manage the Sales Administration team and to ensure that vehicle sales are progressed from order to delivery both accurately and on a timely basis
* To manage vehicle stocks to minimise aged stock and reduce stocking charges, and to increase stock where demand is higher
* To liaise with Finance Team to ensure operational and financial reporting is constantly aligned
* To monitor, track and maximise sales bonuses from the manufacturer
* To continually focus on process improvements to enhance the business
* To provide weekly and monthly sales reporting through automation and use of central dashboards
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE JOB
* Microsoft Excel Advanced Knowledge
* Understanding and previous experience of Microsoft Office suite
* Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
* Good communication skills (oral and written)
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to present and liaise with colleagues at all levels, including Board Members and representatives from the manufacturer
* Understand the needs of both the customers and the Company, and demonstrates this in their work.
* Takes ownership in all aspects of their role, working without close supervision and demonstrating effective self- management.
* Demonstrates the highest level of honesty and integrity
* Full clean Driving Licence
Salary for the role is £45,000 to £50,000 plus impressive benefits.
Previous experience in an Office Manager role which encompasses Sales Admin Department within the Motor Trade is essential.
