Team Educate is currently in search of dedicated Humanities Teachers for positions within Secondary schools in and around Cardiff. Our collaboration extends to several secondary schools in Cardiff, where we require teachers to support students in Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.

We are specifically seeking specialists in Religious Education, Geography, History, and Values and Ethics to cover a diverse range of positions.

Team Educate provides you with the opportunity to work in Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools, along with numerous privately operated educational establishments throughout Wales.

Position Overview:

Job Title: Humanities Teacher



Location: Cardiff

Working Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term, and Long Term

Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

The Role:

As a Humanities Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

* Leading a classroom of students

* Preparing the classroom for lessons and planning as needed

* Working with students in small groups and occasionally providing one-on-one assistance to those with additional needs

* Delivering lessons in alignment with the national curriculum

* Providing supervision during student break times as necessary

* Engaging students in both classroom and extracurricular activities

* Adhering to the school's behavior management policies

Candidate Requirements:

To excel as a Humanities Teacher, you should meet the following criteria:

* Possession of Qualified Teacher Status

* Registration as a Teacher with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) - we can assist you with this process

* References covering the last two years without gaps

* Holding a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one

* Legal right to work in the UK
