Principal People are excited to be recruiting for a global organisation who are looking to recruit for a Health and Safety Manager to join one of their prestigious locations.
The role will be based in Bebington (near Birkenhead) and the role will offer you the opportunity to work in a hands-on and operational environment which will provide you with an excellent opportunity to progress a career in Health and Safety.
You will be the sole Health and Safety representative on the site which will offer a great deal of autonomy, along with flexible working hours to increase work-life balance.
This role is suited to people who are looking to progress in their health and safety career and take the next step up in a stand-alone health and safety role working for a global organisation.
Health and Safety Manager Bebington Up to 52,000 + Bonus Manufacturing
The minimum requirements for this role are:
NEBOSH General Certificate
Experience within a Manufacturing or Warehousing environment would be preferred.
Be able to communicate effectively.
2-3 years experience within a Health and Safety role previously
Passion to develop a strong Health and Safety Career
Key duties of the role include:
Working closely with key stakeholders on site to help improve the standard of Health and Safety culture across the site.
To ensure that all EHS policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are reviewed, updated, and communicated.
Creating and implementing new Health and Safety initiatives
To ensure risk assessments and safe working procedures are completed and reviewed within relevant timescales.
To complete accident Investigations and put processes in place to avoid them happening again
To establish a programme of audits, inspection, and training liaising with the relevant external providers.
