French Teacher Location: York, North Yorkshire
Start Date: January 2024
Salary: MPS/UPS: £30,000 - £43,266 per annum
Contract Type: Part-Time, 3 days per week

GSL Educations North Yorkshire branch is currently seeking a French Teacher to join the MFL department of an Ofsted graded 'Good' School, approximately 13 miles north of York City Centre, starting in January 2024.

To plan and deliver Key Stage 3 and GCSE French across years 7 to 11.
Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.
Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils.
Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge.
Plan and teach well-structured lessons.
Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.French Teacher Requirements:

Hold a relevant degree and teacher training qualification.
Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and GCSE French across a range of abilities.
Be an excellent classroom practitioner, with the ability to use a range of teaching and learning styles and resources to meet the needs of your students.
Have the desire and motivation to work with children and young people.
