Please note: This role is a full time role from January 2024 until the end of the school year.

Science Teacher Job Role:

Deliver captivating pre planned science lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
Supervise laboratory experiments, ensuring a secure environment with strict adherence to safety protocols
Provide prompt and constructive feedback to students, facilitating their understanding of both strengths and areas for improvement in their academic pursuits
Advocate for the well-being of children and young people, extending this commitment not only to the subject matter but throughout the entire school community
Foster positive connections with parents, caregivers, and the broader community, cultivating a collaborative educational atmosphere that emphasizes shared goals and mutual support The Ideal Science Teacher:

Hold a Bachelors degree in Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Science, or a related field
Relevant Postgraduate qualification (PGCE/QTS)
Strong knowledge of the Science National Curriculum
A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment
