Cambridge IC Development Engineer- £55K-£65K Automation

My Client is a successful technology design and engineering company who work with global manufacturers incorporating their unique IP from concept to mass production. They are looking for a dynamic and ambitious IC Development engineer to become a valuable member of their expanding team, comprised of world-class professionals in engineering. This team is dedicated to leaving a significant impact on their cutting-edge smart technology.

Main Duties:

*

Develop digital designs for custom IC integration

*

Create FPGA designs for early embedded firmware development

*

Help validate new silicon designs

Skills and Experience Required:

*

4+ years of relevant experience

*

Degree in computer science/electronic engineering or equivalent

*

Previous experience with FPGA/ASIC design and verification

*

Expert in the use of Xilinx FPGA development tools

*

Good knowledge of interface technology (I2C, SPI, USB, AMBA etc)

*

Strong Verilog, SystemVerilog and Python language skills

Desired but not essential experience:

*

Experience with unit test frameworks, build scripting, Jenkins CI/CD automation

The salary for this position will be circa £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience. Benefits include travel opportunities, private health insurance and regular social events.
