Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Site Services Department Manager

Our client is recognised as a leading ISO 9001 accredited company within the Specialist Engineering and Fabrication industry.

The Site Services Department facilitates the installation of the companys projects and services.

They require a proactive individual to initially work alongside the current Site Services Manager, responsible for the management of the companys installation department, and within an agreed timescale assume full control of the department, reporting directly to the Technical Director

You will be responsible for managing the site services/installation function for the company, organising workloads for a team of experienced engineers, including a number of Site Managers and Mechanical Working Supervisors on sites in the UK and overseas.

You will have worked previously and have experience in all aspects of site installation activities particularly associated with multiple component mechanical, electrical and hydraulic plant.

You will ideally have hands on project experience in the following:

* Contract coordination

* Site Management, ideally having worked as a Planning Supervisor/CDM Coordinator on various plants within a project related environment, preferably incorporating mechanical/electrical/hydraulic installation.

* Fully conversant with the Health & Safety at Work Act and CDM regulations

* Preparing site programmes using Microsoft Project, risk assessments and method statements, managing the dismantling, refurbishment and installation of a variety of large complex structures/moving equipment which includes drives, gears, valves, pumps etc.

* Have excellent communication skills and be able to relate to both client and workforce scenarios.
