For restoration is a genuine Daytona Yellow Ford Escort Mexico unused for 39 years ( since 1984) and has the original correct BFAT code Vin/chassis plate and body plate it was supplied with when built in September 1973 but initially registered in March 1974. This vehicle is a Ford GB (B), Averly built (F), Escort (A), 2 door saloon (T) with genuine and original Type 49 body shell and an L7 engine code from new (1,598cc GT/Mexico), with the matching engine number to the chassis number and a 2000E 4 sped manual gearbox. Car has been off the road for the last 39 years and has had various mediocre restoration works and welding done over that period but although solid, should be redone when the car is restored.
