This role can sit in either of our Glasgow or Edinburgh offices.

To be considered for this role, you must be eligible to undergo UK Security Clearance.

Your future duties and responsibilities
This role will see you work within the software development area of our Delivery Centre that delivers into a diverse of programmes of work for our private and public sector clients.

You will undertake development activities in TDD, BDD and Scrum or other Agile practices. You will be responsible for coding, building, testing and maintenance of software systems whilst coaching and mentoring some of our more junior Dev's.

Design and develop software in line with quality standards
Produce and execute unit tests
Identify and fix bugs in software and independently solve problems
Adhere to change control procedures and processes
Provide trusted work package estimates

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
You will have ability with a combination of some of the following technologies:

Java
Spring
Hibernate
NodeJS
Angular
MongoDB
C# .NET
SQL
Python

Alongside front and back-end development, technical business requirements, creating user stories and client-facing experience is also highly desirable.
