Full-time, 42.5 hours per week. M to Thu 7.30 am to 5.30 pm (1 lunch) and Fri 7:30 am to 3 pm. (start/finish times can be negotiated as needed).
£23 - 28,000 DOE
Impact Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and thriving business based in the Wellingborough area. The main function of this role is overseeing the end-to-end order process, liaising with customers and couriers and resolving any issues or queries as needed.
The Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing customer accounts, processing and logging orders, which will frequently be same day or next day deliveries.
We are looking for someone who is competent with MS Office (specifically Excel) and has strong written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will be driven, keen to make contributions to the day-to-day success of the business and able to proactively contact customers and third-party companies to expedite the order and delivery process.
Salary is dependent on the level of relevant experience in a similar role/industry.
Key duties & responsibilities of the Administrator:
Monitor and update internal systems with order information and customer updates.
Taking orders from customers, and update internal systems with stock availability and outstanding orders.
Produce all aspects of order documentation, despatching, and invoicing as required, according to the customer profile.
Proactively contact customers and couriers to resolve any delays or problems.
Answer calls and offer cover on team members' phone as required.
Dealing with returns, raising credits and organise collections with couriers.
Provide any other ad hoc administrative support as required and be flexible and adaptable in line with business demand.
Key skills and experience required for the Administrator:
Previous experience within a commercial/office-based environment.
Ideally some knowledge of SAP or a similar software (not essential)
Excellent communication (verbal and written), organisational, and administrative skills.
Good numeracy and IT proficiency (including Microsoft Office).
Confident user of MS Excel.
A good level of commercial awareness.
Able to build and maintain good customer relationships.
Eager to learn and develop new skills.
