CNC TURNER - PROGRAMMER / SETTER / OPERATOR - FANUC

(OFFLINE PROGRAMMING DESIRABLE)

Alecto Recruitment are now in working partnership with a well-established engineering company in the Swindon area. A company boasting more than 55 years of manufacturing quality precision engineered parts, moulds, and tools to a variety of market sectors. A new opportunity for a CNC Turner - Programmer / Setter / Operator has arisen to join their state-of-the-art machine shop.

SALARY:

£16.00 to £19.00 per hour.
DAYS ROLE - Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 17:00pm / Friday 08:00am - 13:00pm.
Overtime paid at 1.33 standard rate.

REQUIREMENTS:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner with Programming, Setting and Operating experience.
Must have prior working knowledge with FANUC controls and offline programming with CADCAM is desirable.
Can read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
An independent machinist to work well under own supervision and a team player to help the machining shop floor when/where needed.
Proficient with self-inspecting machined components using various measuring devices.

THE ROLE:

Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC Turning machines using FANUC controls.
Maintaining the highest levels of quality standards which are integral to the manufacturing process.
Ability to resolve queries and problems to best of knowledge before escalating.
