If, at the sign up appointment, the applicant decides that the property is not for them, they can terminate entering the tenancy before they commit to the contract, meaning they can walk away with zero obligations at that point. No monies are requested until the applicant has entered into their tenancy. If the applicant has already given notice to vacate to their current landlord then they can simply retract their notice and remain living in the property as before.
