Engineering Coordinator

We are looking for a technical individual with mechanical knowledge to support the current engineering team with the coordination duties, taking calls and speaking to clients for repairs and maintenance requirements, to manage the technicians diaries and book in jobs as required. The role will require an individual happy to pick up the tools and support in the workshop when necessary.

Responsibilities

* Workshop technical support when there is pressure for getting machinery out the door for delivery.

* Mechanical engineering support of team

* To manage the parts stock, transfers on it system to van location and to oversee the ordering of replacement parts to maintain stock levels in warehouse.

* Self-motivated and responsible for accurate reporting and communication, to assist with engineer reports

* The applicant would also be involved in allocating new machinery,

* Pre delivery Inspection of machinery

* Logging of serial numbers and adding machinery images to customer files.

Role info

Standard hours would be 07:00 to 16:30 but there may be occasional needs to be flexible on start and finish times as needed to get machinery repairs completed.
